BE-GOOD
Objective
The BE-GOOD project was initiated to encourage the reuse of and value creation from government data. The potential value of government information is significant, this project aims to develop innovative and data-driven services in the field of environment and infrastructure. Three main barriers are being overcome: a lack of experience in data publishing, an underestimation of the commercial potential of public sector information, and a need to connect the data to SME solutions.
BE-GOOD stands for 'Building an Ecosystem to Generate Opportunities in Open Data'. The aim is to develop eleven operational prototypes of new commercial services built from public sector information. IRCEL-CELINE worked out the 'cleanest air route' within this project.
