Exposure to NET60

From the evolution of the percentage of the population exposed to daily maximum 8-hour averaged ozone concentrations above 120 μg/m³, it is clear that ozone concentrations vary widely. 2021 was an exceptionally favourable ozone year, in 2022 the entire population was exposed to at least 4 days with a maximum 8-hour mean ozone concentration above 120 µg/m³, 88 % of the population was even exposed to more than 10 exceedance days.

Evolution of the population exposure to days with the highest 8 hour mean value > 120µg/m³ based on the RIO interpolation technique.
